Norwegian cellist Sandra Lied Haga and Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova will be performing together in Carnegie Hall this fall. As a season opener, we are luck to be getting a sneak peak of their concert program in the intimate setting of the Davidsbündler Salon.

About the event

Norwegian cellist Sandra Lied Haga and Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova will be performing together in Carnegie Hall this fall. As a season opener, we are luck to be getting a sneak peak of their concert program in the intimate setting of the Davidsbündler Salon.

Norwegian cellist Sandra Lied Haga stands on the threshold of a major career, having won four international competitions, a number of European Prizes and the prestigious Equinor Classical Music Award, previously given to Leif Ove Andsnes, Truls Mørk and Lise Davidsen. She made her debut with symphony orchestra at age 10, and her rich, beautiful sound and prodigious talent have caught attention worldwide, and made her a sought after soloist, who captivates her listeners with what is described as a uniquely beautiful cello tone.

From an early age, the Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova showed an innate musical maturity and amazing technical abilities. Her live recording of Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Piano Concerto has over 37 million views on YouTube and is highly acclaimed by critics and world-renowned musicians. She regularly performs at the world’s most prestigious concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and New York's Carnegie Hall. Anna is a regular soloist with top orchestras such as the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Symphony and Rotterdam Philharmonic with conductors Daniel Harding, Vasily Petrenko and Gianandrea Noseda among others.
